Good news! You can now generate subtitles for your videos automatically – in just a few clicks, powered by AI directly inside the Ignite backend. 🎉
Our new feature uses one of the most advanced AI engines available. And yes, your data stays safe:
All processing happens exclusively on servers in Europe, and your content is never used to train the AI.
Quick Tutorial: How to create subtitles using AI
It’s simple:
- Open the video detail page in Ignite
- Click the "Content" tab at the top
- Choose the spoken language of your video
- Click "Start AI Transcription"
- A few moments later, your video is automatically subtitled – done!
What’s coming next
We’re just getting started. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be adding:
- Built-in editing tools for your subtitles
- AI-powered translations, planned for this summer
Until then, you can of course:
- Download subtitle files via the download icon
- Edit them locally
- Upload the updated version back into Ignite
That way, you already have full control over your captions.
